Excess number of vehicles

They want you out of cars. There are more vehicles on Tenerife than people with driving licences. I agree it's a bit congested but where's the super train system projected a few years ago? Santa Cruz to Los Cristianos via TFS airport.. There was an impressive display at Los Cristianos a few years ago but no action to date. Imagine a round island circular and maybe a rack railway from Vilaflor to Mount Teide.
