Hi, thanks for accepting me.
My dad is travelling out there on the 17th December to spend the winter there. I was just wondering what is open at the moment? I've heard rumours about loads of places being closed in Tenerife because of covid.
Would be grateful for any information on bars, restaurants and shops that are still open ( or not ) . He will be staying in Costa del Silencio.

We arrived yesterday 6th Dec.Staying between Las Americas & Los Cristianos & really surprised how much is open!! We went for breakfast today (locals also go there) Qing to get in. Last night went to 'Players' bar to eat - great atmosphere. Lots more people than we thought! We were worried abour coming in case it was a ghost town,but far from it, SO pleased we came! Not sure about where your Dad is staying, hope it's the same as here

Thanks so much for replying. Thats great to know. We had heard rumours that nothing was open. He is staying bit further south than you in Costa Del Silencio and I joined a Facebook group for the locals there and have had lots of responses saying everything is open and it's busy !
Just hope he has a negative covid test now 🤞as he will be staying until March.

My husband and I have just moved to Silencio from Los Cristianos. We are registered with a doctor in Los Cristianos, but wondered if there is a health centre here.
