Hi Carol

I am afraid you will not get rid of them but you can keep them under control

I have fly screens on all windows .For the sliding patio doors I added a separate sliding fly screen.               When the sun starts to go down I spray the sliding door runners with a spray called ebogon it’s about 13 euros a bottle from Ferratia but it’s worth ever penny if they walk on the sprayed area they don’t last long                                             Any I see I spray them they are dispatched in seconds
the only ones I struggle with are the flyers                                                    Do not leave open doors or windows after dusk the buzz word is fly screens and more  fly screens             In the sink plug holes I put what I can only describe as tea strainers        I got those out of one of them Chinese shops that sell ever

I hope that’s of some help

Thank you sooooh much, I have fly screens but not on the patio doors so I will certainly get these. Any idea where I can get them and who could install them please? I will also do the rest of the things you have advised. So very grateful. I'm a very clean person, rubbish out every night etc. Can't stand them. Thank you again for taking the time to respond 😘

If you can find someone in the     Ferratia who speaks English they will point you in the right direction

They are like small diy shops most towns have them

If you are away for a while you can get a small tube of stuff

That you just put a small blob in different areas in rooms

Cockroaches eat it another one bites the dust , I am actually at the airport going back to uk not looking forward to that
