We ve had it done differently coming back in to tenerife when the guy took our t I e and then another time he stamped our passports ???

This weekend on returning to UK the guy wasn't interested in the t I e but stamped our passport.. ???

Where's the consistency??? The police seem to do what pleases them on the day!!!.. they obviously stamp passports now to enforce this 90 day rule but that doesn't apply to t I e holders.....or does it???
