Hi there. My wife and I are due to fly over to Tenerife from the UK on October 2021 but are worried that the La Palma volcanic eruptions may impact on the flights to the other islands in the Canaries and we were wondering if there has been any indication that this may happen ??

News Information on 22nd September was that ferries and air traffic is operating as normal. There is a no fly zone directly over the Cumbre Viaje volcanic activity area, Best to keep up to date with news. YouTube has several live bulletins. Scientists forecast this could continue for up to three months. What we did find is that there is no insurance cover for volcanic activity. Sympathies for many residents who have lost their homes and possessions.
