Hi. We're property owners now and need to open a bank account to service direct debits etc. We did try opening one with BBVA last November but it hasn't gone well so we're looking at Santander. We're coming to Tenerife next month and could do with knowing if Santander is good and what do we need to bring with us .

Have a look at N26 (N26.com) - it’s online only but provides everything I need for direct debits and debit debit card payments. Free if you have a low volume of transactions.
