We are thinking of moving to Tenerife next year. We love the south but don’t want an expat community we would like somewhere typically more Spanish. What is san Isidro like? What are the average rental costs per month? Thanks
I don't know what it's like to live in san isidro but it's got nice long shopping street. I have a property in el medano which is a medium sized coastal Spanish town. It can be windy but apart from that I love it there. There are bars, restaurants, hardware stores, supermarkets etc. Theres a lovely town square where they have live performances on high days and holidays. Nice mixed local community and bus links. Hope that helps. Properties are a bit more expensive than in san insidro. Possibly.
