My husband & I (both fit 70 yr olds) are thinking about moving to South Tenerife from the UK (we are aware of all the hoops we have to jump through!) Often holidayed there, but,we really need to ask lots of questions & meet up with people who've experienced life there. We are in Los Cristianos from Dec 4th for 6wks & would love to meet you all ! Hi Folks

A few questions regard my first trip to Tenerife

Whats the cost of living like in Tenerife, is it expensive being a tourist destination ? How much should a taxi cost me from the airport to Los Christianos ?

Is Tenerife a safe place to be for a person alone at night (male advancing in years lol) ?

Is it best to take cash or can you readily get cash from the ATM's ?

Are there any places that you should keep well away from ?

Are there any things that are a must do whilst there ?

Visiting Tenerife for the first time next month, booked All Inclusive at the Sol Arona Hotel, anyone know it what is the place like and what is the location like.

Also if you lot have your crystal balls out what should the weather be like towards the end of May ?
